CERIT offers a range of research, testing, consultancy, information provision, and training services to industry. CERIT’s focus is on managing insect infestations and initiating, developing, testing or registering insect control products.  R&D services offered include:

Product research, development and testing:

• Automated aerosol chambers for efficacy testing against flying insects;
• Performance testing of baits, treated surfaces, attractants and repellents against flying, crawling and fabric insects;
• Efficacy testing of raw and formulated insecticides (new products, quality control, manufacturing problems, etc).
• Screening of chemical libraries for various insecticidal modes-of-action. These include adulticide, larvicide, IGR, acaricide and repellency activities.
